Subject : The Shelley Manor Scheme

The Friends Of Shelley Manor are pleased to announce that following their appeal for funds to restore Shelley Manor's theatre; museum and create a performance arts café -The Boscombe Working Community Partnership have confirmed that they have allocated £200,000 for this part of the project.
In addition we have had a number of offers of help and are welcoming new members.
We are hopeful, that with the support of the community, that we shall have sufficient funds to meet the necessary funding target by October 2005.
We would like to thank the readers of the Echo for their continued support and hope that they will continue to take an interest in this community lead project.
